This week we had our first face-to-face meeting with the IUCN Council. This Council meeting in Switzerland has convinced me of the incredible strength of our powerful organisation and the commitment and quality of my colleagues from around the world.
The environment needs our Union more than ever, so I not only reaffirm my commitment, but I am honoured to serve on the IUCN Council. I will continue to actively contribute and work for the future of our home within this incredible family that is IUCN.
