We consider nature as our ally through the development of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) to fight against the interconnected climate and biodiversity crises.
IUCN and its members and experts have an important role to play both in putting the NbS on the political agenda (COP climate, COP Biodiversity, national and local policies) and in promoting their implementation through projects in the territories.
Similarly, in order to mobilise the French-speaking IUCN network on this challenge, the French Committee of IUCN is organising a webinar on Wednesday 30 2022, from 10h to 11h15 (CEST) on the theme “What dynamics on Nature-based Solutions in the French-speaking world?”
During this webinar, French-speaking IUCN members and experts will be able to learn about Nature-based Solutions and the IUCN global standard, discover a series of presentations on feedback from experiences in implementing NbS in different countries and contexts, and exchange on the appropriation of the concept in the French-speaking world.
