Organised every four years, this meeting is being held in Marseille from 3 September. The aim is to further preserve biodiversity on the planet. And it is urgent!

One million of the eight million or so animal and plant species on the planet are in danger of extinction, and the rate of extinction is 100 to 1 000 times greater than the natural rate. Faced with the alarming decline in biodiversity, solutions exist and strong decisions can be taken.
